How to
get a Work Visa |
In order to be eligible to work overseas,
it is mandatory that the employee obtains a valid work Visa through
sponsorship from the potential employer to become an ESL/EFL instructor,
and you must be an English native speaker. |
Visa Procedures |
1. Submit an Online Application |
Check out our online job bank, find a job
that interests you and apply.
After we receive your application, including your resume and cover
letter, we will forward all information to the institute. If the employer
chooses to employ you we will send you a contract for you to sign. |
2. Send the Following Documents to
Us. |
- Original diploma or a copy notarized
by the Korean Consulate
- One copy of sealed University transcripts
- Photocopy of the photo page of your passport
- 3 colour passport photos
- Resumé
- Signed Contract
- Criminal record check stamped by Korean Consulate |
3. Visa Process |
After receiving all your required documents,
we will process your work visa by submitting the documents to the
Korea Ministry of Justice. An E 2 Visa Acceptance Number will be issued
within one week of submission. We will forward this number to you. |
4. Get Your Passport Stamped with
the E 2 Visa |
Take the E 2 Visa Number and your passport
to the nearest Korean Consulate. The consulate will stamp the E 2
Visa in your passport. If you need to mail your E 2 Visa Acceptance
Number to the Korean Consulate, Canada 2 Korea will provide you with
the necessary information. |
5. Flight Reservations |
Canada 2 Korea will arrange your flight
for you to Korea. |
6. Board the Plane |
Board the plane and meet your employer
upon arrival in Korea. |
